Three Stone Teal Sapphire Art Deco Engagement Ring with Tapered Baguette Diamonds
This bespoke Art Deco engagement ring was designed and handcrafted in platinum for Ethan in our Cardiff workshop. From above, he wanted a classic three stone engagement ring, balanced, timeless, and elegant in its proportions.
At the centre sits a striking teal sapphire, chosen for its rich depth of colour and subtle shift between blue and green in changing light. It is framed by tapered baguette diamonds, whose clean step-cut facets introduce the strong linear geometry associated with Art Deco design.
While the top view remains refined and symmetrical, the design evolves beneath the setting. A sculptural fan-shaped under-gallery detail was introduced to soften the vertical lines of the baguettes and add architectural interest from the side. This quiet structural element gives the ring a contemporary edge while honouring the sunburst and stepped influences of the 1920s.
The result is a ring that feels classic at first glance, yet reveals considered geometric precision from every angle.

Every bespoke engagement ring we design begins with sketches and precision CAD modelling. This stage allows us to refine the proportions of the three stone setting, balance the tapered baguette diamonds, and perfect the architectural under-gallery before the ring is handcrafted in platinum in our Cardiff workshop.
