A little knowledge, more confidence
Beautiful for the
life you live.
Are all these stones suitable for everyday rings?
Different stones suit different ways of wearing a ring. Diamond, sapphire and several others are strong everyday choices. Emerald, tourmaline and topaz need more care; opal, moonstone and tanzanite are delicate choices that may suit careful or occasional wear. Mohs hardness measures scratch resistance, not resistance to breaking. We’ll assess the actual stone, any treatments and its setting with your lifestyle in mind. Remove your ring for the gym, heavy work and harsh chemicals.
Are these all the gemstones you offer?
Not at all. We can source any gemstone you have in mind. The stones shown here are popular choices, chosen for their colours and character, with clear guidance on durability and care. If you’re drawn to a different stone or shade, tell us what you love and we’ll explore the possibilities for your ring.
Why choose an opal?
Every opal has a different play of colour. We work with Remi, our trusted Australian opal supplier, to find stones with individual character. Opal needs gentle wear and a considered setting. Meet Remi and explore our opal story ↗
Natural diamond or lab-grown diamond?
Both are diamond and rate 10 Mohs, with essentially the same physical and optical properties. Natural diamonds form in the earth; lab-grown diamonds are grown in a laboratory and usually offer more size for the budget.
