Art Deco Engagement Ring Designed in Cardiff
This bespoke Art Deco engagement ring was designed and handcrafted in our Cardiff workshop for Richard. At its centre sits a beautifully coloured emerald-cut emerald, chosen for its vivid green tone and clean, linear facet structure.
The elongated geometry of the emerald lends itself naturally to Art Deco design, where symmetry and strong horizontal lines define the aesthetic. Surrounding the centre stone, we created a structured halo combining baguette and round diamonds. The baguettes introduce architectural precision, while the round diamonds soften the composition and enhance brilliance.
Along the shoulders, fine micro-set diamonds continue the flow of light, adding subtle detail without distracting from the central emerald. To complete the piece, the edges were finished with delicate milgrain, introducing texture and a vintage reference that complements the Art Deco influence.
The result is a ring that feels elegant and composed — bold in colour, structured in form, and rich in detail from every angle.
