Art Deco Engagement Ring Designed in Cardiff
This bespoke Art Deco engagement ring was designed and handcrafted in white gold for Samar in our Cardiff workshop. Created by reimagining three sentimental rings and their original diamonds, the piece transforms heirloom jewellery into one bold, geometric halo engagement ring with strong architectural presence.
From above, the ring presents a structured diamond halo framed with linear baguette diamonds and finished with fine milgrain detailing. Strong symmetry and crisp geometry define its Art Deco character, while the white gold engagement ring setting enhances brightness, contrast, and precision.
The result is a ring that feels both vintage-inspired and unapologetically contemporary — designed to be worn and admired every day.

From Sketch to CAD: Designing a Bespoke Engagement Ring in Cardiff
Every bespoke engagement ring we design begins with sketches developed during the consultation, followed by precision CAD modelling. In Samar’s case, this stage was essential in restructuring three existing rings into one cohesive Art Deco halo composition.
Through CAD, we refined the proportions of the geometric diamond halo, aligned the baguette and round diamonds for perfect symmetry, and carefully positioned the milgrain detailing before the ring was handcrafted in white gold in our Cardiff workshop.
Using CAD ensures balance and structural precision — particularly important in an Art Deco engagement ring where architectural accuracy defines the final result.
