Limited Edition Medium Fossil Pendant (Pear Bezel-Set)
This limited edition medium fossil pendant is inspired by ancient plant fossils found in the coal seams of Wrexham’s Brymbo Forest. Its fluid openwork shape follows the organic lines of these natural forms, creating a sculptural pendant necklace with a clear connection to Welsh history, landscape and craft.
Set with a pear-shaped stone at the centre of the design, this bezel set pendant adds a refined point of light to the fossil-inspired form. The pear-cut stone brings definition and contrast to the openwork shape, making this modern pendant necklace feel distinctive, polished and more collectable.
Suspended from a 1.4mm belcher chain, the pendant has a strong but wearable presence. The 16-inch chain includes a 2-inch extender, allowing the length to be adjusted for comfortable styling. Available as a sterling silver pendant necklace or in an 18ct gold-plated finish, each piece is polished to highlight the curved organic form.
The pear bezel setting sits within the lower curve of the pendant, following the natural flow of the fossil design while adding a precise gemstone detail. Set as standard with a pear cubic zirconia, this gemstone pendant necklace can also be upgraded to a pear lab-grown diamond or made with an alternative stone on request.
Rooted in Wrexham’s natural and industrial history, this limited edition fossil pendant brings together organic design, skilled craftsmanship and contemporary Welsh jewellery.
A considered jewellery gift for anyone with a connection to Wales, Wrexham or the Eisteddfod, this pear-shaped stone pendant offers a wearable link to natural history and Welsh heritage jewellery. Each piece is handcrafted in Neil Rayment Goldsmiths’ Cardiff Bay workshop and presented in terracotta eco-friendly branded packaging, ready for gifting or keeping as a distinctive piece of modern Welsh jewellery.
