Art Deco Engagement Ring Designed in Cardiff
This bespoke Art Deco engagement ring was designed and handcrafted in our Cardiff workshop for Liam. The vision centred around a timeless round brilliant-cut diamond, framed by bold geometric detailing to introduce structure and contrast.
At the heart of the ring sits a beautifully proportioned round diamond, selected for its exceptional light performance and balanced symmetry. Surrounding the centre stone, we created a halo of princess-cut emeralds — their crisp square edges providing architectural definition against the softness of the round diamond.
The interplay between circular brilliance and angular emerald facets creates a striking Art Deco composition, where contrast becomes the defining design feature.
The band begins as a traditional court-shaped profile for comfort and wearability, before subtly pinching into a soft knife-edge as it approaches the setting. This tapered transition enhances the structure of the halo and draws the eye toward the centre stone, giving the ring a refined, sculptural presence.
The result is a ring that feels timeless at its core, yet confidently geometric in its detailing — a contemporary interpretation of Art Deco design.
