Small Fossil Pendant
This small fossil pendant is inspired by ancient plant fossils found in the coal seams of Wrexham’s Brymbo Forest. Its fluid shape follows the organic lines of these natural forms, creating a sculptural pendant necklace with a clear connection to Welsh history, landscape and craft.
The pendant is suspended from a delicate but durable 1.2mm diamond-cut curb chain. Sitting neatly at the collarbone, this modern pendant necklace works beautifully on its own or as a layering necklace. The 16-inch chain includes a 2-inch extender, allowing the length to be adjusted for comfortable everyday wear.
Available as a sterling silver pendant necklace or an 18ct gold plated necklace, this piece suits both silver and gold jewellery collections. The sterling silver necklace option has a clean, polished finish, while the gold plated pendant necklace offers a warmer tone with the same fluid fossil-inspired form.
Designed as a refined everyday piece, the pendant has a polished finish that catches the light without feeling overly ornate. The openwork pendant design gives the necklace a sense of movement and structure, making it an elegant choice for those drawn to nature inspired jewellery, heritage inspired jewellery and meaningful pieces with a story behind them.
Rooted in Wrexham’s natural and industrial history, this fossil pendant necklace makes a considered jewellery gift for anyone with a connection to Wales, Welsh heritage, Wrexham or the Eisteddfod. A distinctive piece of Welsh jewellery, it brings together organic design, skilled craftsmanship and wearable history in one refined necklace.
Each necklace is presented in Neil Rayment Goldsmiths’ terracotta eco-friendly branded packaging, ready for gifting or keeping as a piece of Welsh heritage jewellery.
