Contemporary Heirlooms Made with Meaning

Ashes & Memorial jewellery service

At our studio, we believe jewellery should tell stories—not just of love, but of life, memory, and meaning.

Our ashes and memorial jewellery service is a deeply personal part of our bespoke offering. It’s where craftsmanship meets care, and where design becomes a quiet act of remembrance. Each piece is made to honour, not replicate—to capture something felt, something lasting.

We offer a selection of pre-designed pieces that can be personalised with resin and ashes—an accessible way to create something meaningful. Or, if you prefer, we can work together to design a truly one-of-a-kind piece: a ring, pendant, or keepsake that reflects your memories and the person you’ve lost.

Modern Design, Meaningful Craft

Our approach to memorial jewellery is rooted in contemporary design and hand-crafted precision. Whether it's platinum, gold, or a mixed metal combination, we infuse every commission with both conceptual clarity and emotional resonance.

Ashes are delicately and respectfully incorporated into the piece—never hidden, never rushed. Each project is a collaboration, made in dialogue with you and your story. From initial sketches to the final polish, your jewellery is shaped with care, purpose, and permanence.

A Story Worth Sharing

One client came to us with a unique idea: to honour their late father, a lifelong Land Rover enthusiast, with a custom-made pendant shaped like the iconic vehicle he loved.

They didn’t want something generic—they wanted something personal and symbolic, yet wearable. We worked together to design a miniature Land Rover pendant, carefully modelled to reflect the details of the original vehicle.

Inside, we hollowed the piece to discreetly hold a small amount of ashes. These were suspended in clear resin, sealed within the body of the pendant—completely secure, yet softly visible through the rear window detailing.

Whether it’s a classic shape, a meaningful object, or something entirely abstract, our bespoke process allows your memories to take any form. If it matters to you, we’ll find a way to design around it.

Your Journey, Handled with Care

We understand the trust it takes to send a part of someone you love. That’s why every stage is handled with the utmost care, privacy, and respect. When you enquire, we’ll walk you through the entire process—from safe collection of the ashes, to design, to delivery in our signature leather packaging.

We’re here to listen first, design second.

Let’s Begin Your Commission

If you’re considering a memorial piece, we welcome you to get in touch. There’s no obligation—just a conversation about how we might help you honour a memory through something beautiful, modern, and made to last.

Case Study

Jo’s Commission – A Hidden Connection

Jo came to us after the loss of her father, seeking a way to keep him close—not through a traditional memorial ring, but through something modern, elegant, and deeply personal. Her mother joined her for the initial design sketch, making the process even more intimate.

Together, we created a bespoke gold ring using recycled gold from her father’s signet ring and bracelet. Ashes and hair were set beneath a crystal Australian opal in clear enamel—allowing glimpses of the ashes beneath. To complete the design, we surrounded the opal with a halo of emeralds, her father's birthstone.

“It’s more than I imagined. Elegant, subtle, deeply personal-and something I can wear everyday. You understood Exactly what I was hoping for.”

“Your kindness, compassion, and a bit of humour throughout the process made the experience truly special.”

“Thank you once again, Neil, for creating such a beautiful and meaningful piece that will always remind me of my very special dad.”

Stage 1

The Design Consultation

Jo was clear from the start: she didn’t want anything “off-the-shelf.” Her vision was for a fashionable, contemporary ring that carried her father’s memory with subtlety. At our first meeting, we explored design ideas, stones, and how we could build meaning into every detail of the ring.

Stage 2

CAD Design & Refinement

Once the concept was agreed upon, we moved into the CAD design phase. Using Jo’s preferences and our sketches, we developed a digital model of the ring—refining every proportion, stone setting, and curve until it was perfect. This process ensured the final design honoured Jo’s vision with complete precision and clarity.

Stage 3

Crafting the sentiment

We began by melting down gold from her father's treasured signet ring and bracelet—transforming it into the foundation of a new piece. Ashes and a lock of hair were then carefully set in clear enamel at the centre. This formed a deeply personal base for the design: discreet, but visible—just as Jo had hoped.

Stage 4

Sourcing the Perfect Stone

Finding the right stone was a key part of the journey. We worked with Remi, an independent opal miner and cutter in Australia, to source a stunning natural crystal opal—chosen not only for its translucent beauty, but for its story.

We are always conscious of where our materials come from. This opal was ethically mined and hand-cut, reflecting both Jo’s values and ours. Its shifting green fire perfectly echoed the ashes beneath and paired beautifully with the emeralds that would later surround it.

Stage 5

A Thoughtful Tribute

To honour the journey, we captured a final tribute: the completed ring beside Jo’s father's urn and photograph—taken in our workshop, where every detail had come together.

“The tribute photo you took in your workshop was a wonderful gesture I’ll cherish forever.”

Stage 6

The Reveal

When Jo and her mother returned to see the finished ring, it was a quiet and meaningful moment. The design, the materials, the subtle presence of the ashes—everything had come together just as she'd hoped.

It wasn’t just about the craftsmanship. It was about trust, understanding, and creating something that felt right. Seeing the finished piece in person brought that full sense of connection to life.

“It felt so personal, so considered. You understood exactly what I wanted - even the small details meant something.”

How we work

Every memorial commission begins with a conversation. Whether you’re interested in a fully bespoke piece or a personalised design
from our existing collection, we’ll guide you through the process with care and clarity.

We only need a small amount of ashes—typically less than a teaspoon—and we’ll provide everything you need to send them safely to our studio.

From there, we’ll work with you to design or customise a piece that reflects your story, using high-quality materials and thoughtful detail. We keep you updated at key stages, and your finished piece is presented in our signature leather packaging, ready to be treasured.

"So I contacted these incredible goldsmiths
with a design and and idea of setting my mums ashes in a ring, I sent them a couple of mums old rings that she wore all the time and wore when she passed, he used them to create the band and we chose a jade stone as a centre piece, it was always her favourite , Neil has worked tirelessly for the last 2 months or so and set her ashes behind the jade, even sent me some photos of him doing this process too, this honestly means the world to me and it's something I can treasure forever."

Ashley

“I had the pleasure of picking up two exquisite pieces of commissioned jewellery from Neil. The remodelled necklace, a heartfelt tribute to my mother, draws inspiration from her love of gardening and Tolkien. Each piece holds a profound and sentimental value, making them exceptionally precious to me. Neil's craftsmanship and keen understanding of our preferences shine through in these beautiful and bespoke creations. Walking into Neil's shop was a chance encounter that I am truly grateful for. The entire process, unexpectedly easy, reflects Neil's artistry and workmanship, as he skilfully translated my emotions into a piece of art. Notably, the entire process was surprisingly affordable, and I would strongly encourage anyone considering this to have a chat with Neil. You'll be pleasantly surprised."
